Getting Ready for A to Z!

With more full day to go until the A to Z April Challenge starts, I thought I'd give it a little plug - and also those taking part, who are all listed below.

I wracked my brains for ages before deciding what to do, finally settling on PLACES - either places I love that have happy memories or places I'd like to visit.  Oh, and the occasional place that just fitted the letter of the day...
I was going to do something to do with writing and in a way I still have, as many of these places have inspired me or are lodged in my mind for future reference.  I've also had stories published that I set in a couple of them, so it is writing-linked in a way.  I know it doesn't have to be, but as this is basically a writing blog...

I'm really looking forward to reading lots of entries over the next 30 days.  I hope you'll join me!  (I'm #862 on the list - if you're taking part, what number are you?  Let me know so I can make sure I read your entries!)

I agree places is a great theme - you can start in Andover and end up in Zanzibar, stopping of in Hungary, Quebec and the local X-ray unit on the way!

I'm...not gonna bother finding my name in that list. It's so long, and I'm sure I'll go cross-eyed. Looking forward to your posts!

The pictures are beautiful. I would love to venture over there, just to take some shots of my own.
